The Story of AKP Sublimations

Founded in 2015 by Abhijeet Pendhari (Abhijeet Krishnakumar Pendhari), AKP Sublimations started from humble beginnings as a small workshop in North Mumbai. With a single heat press and a passion for vibrant design, we set out to make custom printing accessible and reliable.

Over the past decade, we have expanded our workshop in Borivali East. We have manufactured and supplied over 500 bulk corporate orders, custom mugs, sports bottles, and sublimation blanks across India. We also supply premium Epson flatbed machinery to startup print studios.

Our core philosophy remains the same: combining raw material excellence (using triple-coated substrates) with precise heat-timer calibrations. We handle all inquiries with dedicated customer service, pan-India shipping networks, and official GST tax compliance.

The Sublimation Printing Process

Learn how we transfer high-resolution digital designs permanently onto ceramic, metals, and fabrics.

Digital Designing

We create or calibrate high-density vector graphics, matching colors exactly using customized ICC profiles tuned for sublimation inks. This ensures text and graphics stay sharp on final transfer outputs.

Precision Printing

Designs are mirrored and printed onto specialized high-release sublimation paper (usually 100-120 GSM) using authentic Epson printers. High-density inks bind temporarily to the silica coating of the paper.

Heat & Pressure

The paper is wrapped tightly around the blank substrate (mug, T-shirt, or sports flask) and secured with heat-resistant tape. We apply heat (360°F - 400°F) and consistent pressure using our manual or automatic heat presses.

Dye Infusion & Curing

Under heat, the solid dye particles sublimate directly into a gas without turning into liquid, permeating the polymer coat of the ceramic or polyester fibers. As it cools, the ink solidifies, becoming a permanent part of the material. It will not peel, crack, or wash away!

For custom printing services (e.g. customized logo mugs, water bottles, T-shirts), there is no strict minimum order quantity. However, we offer significant volume-based discounts. For bulk logo mug orders, wholesale rates apply to quantities of 500 pieces and above.

Yes, all genuine Epson printers (such as the F130 or L8050) carry standard manufacturers' warranties. Our heat press machinery (combo machines and flatbeds) are thoroughly inspected in our workshop and come with a standard parts warranty. We also provide technical support, calibration parameters, and setup guidelines for beginners.

Absolutely! We welcome customers to visit our workshop located in Borivali East, Mumbai. We are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please schedule an appointment via phone or WhatsApp beforehand so we can keep sample materials and machines ready for a demo.
